Welcome to Week 6.  There still continues to be a lot of sickness in our school community.  Thank you to all parents for keeping their child/ren at home when they are unwell.  A friendly reminder that students need to be symptom free on their return to school.  This ensures that the rest of our school is healthy and does not become sick.

Tell them from me survey

This week families were sent the link to complete the Tell them from me survey.  Apologies that the first link was not working, a new link was sent out, so families should have no problem accessing the survey which will remain open till 9^th June 2023.

Research Behind the Survey

The TTFM® Parent Survey is based primarily on Joyce Epstein’s framework for fostering positive relations between the school and the community. Successful schools foster greater communication with parents, encourage parental involvement in their child’s schoolwork, and enlist parents to volunteer at the school and participate in school governance. This survey provides feedback on parents’ perceptions of the school’s support for learning, positive behaviours, and the promotion of safety and inclusion.

Supporting School Growth

Insights into parent and staff communication, activities and practices at home, and parent voice on the school’s support of learning and behaviour all build an accurate and timely picture that schools can use for practical improvements.
