Dear Parents,

Some students in Yrs. 2/3/4 and 5/6 will have their face ‘painted’ to reflect the cultural dress of their dance.  Those doing the Haka will have the black ‘face tattoos’ (charcoal based) applied and those doing the Aboriginal dance will have ochre applied. All the application of these decorations will be done according to Covid protocols i.e. there will be no sharing of paints and brushes. At the completion of their performance they will need to wash themselves clean.

Due to Covid restrictions it is requested that you provide the cleaning implements that they will need.  Could you please supply your child with a face washer and soap or wipes (in plentiful supply).

The students are very excited about their performances and it is a shame that we are unable to show case their efforts at an assembly. However their performances will be able to be viewed on google classrooms. More information about that is to come.
